The series entitled "Hors cadre encadrés" highlights LindaRo's current technique, namely charcoal and encaustic drawing (use of waxes and pigments). Through these works, the artist wishes to pay tribute to significant figures in history who have distinguished themselves through their extraordinary actions. Emblematic figures from the fields of science, literature, art, politics, and others are chosen as sources of inspiration for my creations. The encaustic technique that the artist uses offers impressive finishes and textures that are little known to the general public. By highlighting famous faces, the objective is to arouse the interest and emotion of the spectators, while helping them discover and appreciate this artistic technique.
